WHO WE ARE
Alfred Groves & Sons Ltd is a family owned business in Milton-under-Wychwood established in 1660
Nestled in the beautiful surroundings of the Cotswolds between Burford and Chipping Norton our architecturally rich yard comprises of around 40 diverse individual traders and businesses. Builders, beauticians, bakers and joiners work alongside our large well equipped DIY shop to meet the needs of the Wychwood community. Come and enjoy our cafes, French interiors shop and meet the craftsmen and artists who set this place apart!

Often referred to as the Aladdin’s cave, Groves Shop bursts with around 9000 products making it a large playground for any maker who is looking to turn their hands to any size project. Whether you are a keen gardener, bird lover, a professional builder, a DIY enthusiast, a painter or a family looking to do home improvements, we can help!

We are celebrating
THE GREAT BIG GREEN WEEK 🍀🍃🌳by encouraging you to try our locally sourced wildflower- and soil improving seeds, which provide much needed nutrition and space for insects and animals (people too!) and not least Mother Earth
We are also shortly introducing our refill station, to limit plastic and waste use.
Groves provides spaces for local people to come together. For work, exchange of knowledge, inspiration, eating and socialising. All important sustainable aspects of a healthy life.
Join us on a Wednesday afternoons where the villagers take over the car park and share with you their locally grown produce.
It’s about sustainability on all levels!
